This guy is amazing. We got a Tanjore painting shipped from India without the glass, but we had to take art from the original frame to do that but it was nailed and taped all over. Modern memory design was the only person accepted the job and took out the art with zero damage from the old frame and did new frame and UV glass . The art now looks like a 3D image . I highly recommend for any framing work.
Ordered an odd size frame from them on Etsy for a vacation art piece we found while traveling. Frame arrived in perfect condition and fit the photo perfectly. Extremely well made and looks great in our living room. So glad I found them! Shipping was really fast as well.
First item we had framed was not in the style we ordered. We let it go and gave them another shot. Second item was forgotten, then was on the wrong frame size, and matte and not set up at all how it was discussed. Near impossible to to get a phone call answered, and mailbox is full so unable to leave messages. Took four weeks to complete the job, and still not right. Very disappointing as a great deal of thought was put into this job as it was a gift.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Michal is professional, passionate and awesome! I needed a canvas stretched. I got a quote from another place that was so over priced. I decided to drive 20 minutes to Modern and it was worth it! It looks amazing, turn around was quick and I will be back. Highly recommend !
Awesome service, amazing collection of frames and very reasonably priced. I took a 6 foot long Egyptian papyrus for framing. I was shown various mounting options and possibilities, with what they will cost. Once mounted, it looks like a museum piece. Craftmanship and attention to detail was great. Extremely happy with the speed and cost of the whole affair.Highly recommend. A fraction of the costs, compared to other framing shops, i shopped a bit.
Mike from Modern Memory Design was a pleasure to work with! He was friendly upon meeting and very thoughtful when it came to picking out the perfect frames for my grandmothers artwork. MMD has a ton of options to choose from! I will definitely be coming back to get more things framed in the future!
I was a bit skeptical ordering a frame online sight-unseen, but my experience with these guys was great. They were able to slightly adjust the size of their standard frames to fit my needs (I need 40cmx25cm instead of 10"x16"). Their response time was fantastic, they shipped same-day, and my frame arrived looking as advertised and in phenomenal shape. My painting fit perfectly and we can't wait to hang it on our wall!
I have purchased and framed several items from Mike so far. If you think that going to a huge chain store with a coupon is less expensive, I can tell you that it is not true. Mike is fair and honest. His prices have been far better than a chain store. Also, he is knowledgeable and attentive The quality is excellent, too. I highly recommend this shop for framing and buying new pieces of artwork.
